WhatsApp new feature: Meta has rolled out two new updates today to further improve the privacy of WhatsApp users. One of these updates is going to be of great use because recently many WhatsApp users have received calls from unknown numbers, due to which they have to face trouble. Due to this, the cases of fraud have also increased on the platform. Meta has now added a new feature on WhatsApp which will give users the option to silence calls coming from unknown numbers. Along with this, the company has also given a ‘Privacy Checkup’ update in the app, which will tell users about all the privacy tools of the app and will also give them the option of checkup.
You will find both the updates in privacy by going inside the setting option. The first option is of great use for women because many times women keep getting calls from unknown numbers all of a sudden which disturbs them in doing their work. By keeping this feature on, they will not have any problem and calls coming from unknown numbers will automatically be silent. All the silent calls will be visible to the user inside the call tab.
These options will be available in privacy checkup
The Privacy Checkup option will inform users about all the tools that are necessary for their privacy. That is, you will get information about all the tools in one place. Under Privacy Checkup, WhatsApp will give you information about many things like Who can contact you, see your personal information etc. From here you can also change the settings.
